BSL Level 3- British Sign Language

Communicate Confidently

This course is designed to prepare learners to communicate confidently in British Sign Language at Level 3 of the National Occupational Standards for Languages. It builds on foundational skills and equips you with the tools to engage in more complex and meaningful conversations in BSL.

Who This Course Is For

This course is ideal for individuals who:

  • Use BSL to communicate with friends and family
  • Interact with Deaf colleagues or clients in the workplace
  • Aspire to work professionally with Deaf people in education, healthcare, social services, or community roles/pursuing careers in Deaf service.
  • Deaf learners: Deaf people who want formal recognition of their native language skills through an accredited qualification.
  • Support network: Family members, friends and colleagues of Deaf individuals who want to build more meaningful and inclusive relationships.

BSL Level 3 units and assessments

150 hours of guided learning and 100 additional learning. Total learning hours: 250.
